Selbyville, Del.: Nearly 250 volunteers came out to pack boxes with Thanksgiving dinner for the needy with the partnership between Mountaire Farms and Dagsboro Church of God.
Operation Cookie Drop-Off: WBOC is joining the charity event this year. People across Delmarva bakes cookies and then drops them off to locations on the peninsula to be sent overseas to the troops. You can drop off cookies at WBOC locations in Dover, Milton, and Salisbury on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Free Entrance at Delaware State Parks: DNREC’s Division of Parks and Recreation is waiving daily entrance fees at all state parks on Black Friday. Delaware State Park gates open at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27.
Must-See Places to Visit in 2016: National Geographic Magazine announced its “Best of the World” list and Tangier and Smith Islands were recognized on a list of 20 must-see places. The islands were chosen out of 34,000 submissions.
