Heart Ball to Raise Money for American Heart Association Research
With heart-related diseases affecting so many people across Delaware, it comes as no surprise that the American Heart Association Heart Ball, has garnered a lot of attention over the years, and this year is no exception.
The Heart Ball, with a theme this year of “Passage to India,” is known as a night of “celebration and sharing,” but most importantly, it’s a night for saving lives.
Through means such as a silent and live auction, as well as ticket sales, the money raised will help fund research and treatment for individuals suffering from heart problems. Last year the Heart Ball campaign went on to raise over $71 million dollars to help those in need.
The event will be held this year on Saturday, April 8, at the Maple Dale Country Club in Dover, Del. The festivities kick off at 7 p.m. where guests will be transported to India with authentic Indian food, dancing, decorations and live entertainment.
