Many teens today are afraid they are going to miss out on the fun, an opportunity, the party, making friends, whatever it may be. We learn about a new hashtag, #MUMO — mess up, miss out.
It’s the message that Somerset County Health Department is working to share with local teens and parents. Jalissa Worthy from the Somerset County Health Dept., joins us to tell us more about the new MUMO app.
The Somerset County Health Department developed an app to educate and help teens and their families understand the threats associated with risky decisions and behaviors. Whether its sex, drinking, smoking, drugs or mental health issues, #MUMO provides interactive resources and information for teens and adults at their fingertips.
