He also founded “Horizons of Salisbury,” a summer program to help children from low-income families with their reading and math skills. Those are just a few of the reasons why Eagle is a 2019 WBOC Jefferson Awards winner. About the Jefferson Awards
WBOC is proud to be a local partner of the Jefferson Awards, which are presented to unrecognized citizens on Delmarva who provide extraordinary public service. The Jefferson Awards are presented on two levels: national and local. The mission of the Jefferson Awards is to encourage and honor individuals for their achievements and contributions through public and community service.
The 2019 Jefferson Awards are made possible through the support of our local sponsor, Nanticoke Health Services.
