Jake Owen Gets Emotional on Big Barrel Stage
He jumped off stage, despite there being no ladder, touched a few fans, took a few selfies and then was lifted back on stage.
Between his third and fourth song, Jake got a little deep. He expressed that he thought it was awesome there were so many little kids on parents’ shoulders at the concert and that he himself has a two-year-old. Jake went on to tell the crowd that he hasn’t seen his child in about a week because he’s been touring and he pointed out a few youngsters to bring on stage. One little boy had a sign that said it was his first concert and two little girls were holding a sign that said ‘Bring me up on stage.’ Jake introduced the children to the crowd, let the boy strum the guitar and changed up his words in his song to make it a little more appropriate for the young ones on stage.
Jake continued to engage the crowd throughout the performance, putting on a memorable show for the second to last act of Big Barrel Country Music Festival.
