Big Barrel Country Music Festival: Drake White & The Big Fire
Drake White was born in Alabama and began his music career at age 14 by singing and writing songs in the church choir. White strayed away from music to pursue a career as a contractor and then decided he needed to go back to music.
Drake White & The Big Fire have opened up for musicians such as Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tyler Bryant and Channing Wilson, which made it seem almost effortless to open up the Big Barrel Country Music Festival on Friday.
The band played a couple new songs, some old songs and some covers and kept reminding the crowd of their name, joking that everyone was just there to see Blake Shelton. Although people may have been attending this festival to see Chris Young and Blake Shelton Friday night, there was no doubt that Drake White & The Big Fire put on a memorable performance for those at The Woodlands Friday afternoon.
The band stuck around after their performance to meet some fans, sign some autographs and just hang around with festival goers.
