Heroin addiction is growing at an unprecedented rate.
Delmarva Teen Challenge has run a very successful residential program in Seaford and is getting ready to open a new center for women, with or without children, near Bridgeville.
The center is called “Home of Hope” and it plans to provide recovery options in the very near future. To help fund this new center, Union United Methodist Church in Bridgeville is sponsoring the first annual “Driving Home Hope” Golf Tournament, to be held Thursday, September 7th at Heritage Shores Golf Club in Bridgeville.
Registration is at 7:30 a.m. and a Shotgun Start begins at 9 a.m.

Another fundraiser is coming up to help the family of Delmarva Teen Challenge Executive Director Bob Carey with medical expenses related to his wife’s battle with cancer.
