If you’re looking for a fun activity this weekend that also helps a great cause, then head to Milford.
Jimmy and Lisa sit down with representatives from the Milford Relay For Life who tell us about their upcoming event this Friday when the town will be celebrating 20 years of working alongside Relay For Life!
Relay for Life is one of the nation’s most well-known and respect fundraisers. The events help raise funds and awareness for those battling cancer. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to help continue cancer research, education and prevention services and so much more.
The events kick off on Friday, June 16 at 6 p.m. with a survivor honorary lap and reception, then at 7 p.m. the Relay For Life 5k race will commence. More activities will follow into the evening, and the official event will end the next morning at 6 a.m.
