Delaware Junction: Country Music Festival or Amusement Park?
During the three-day festival in Harrington, Del., there is music constantly playing, giant swings flying, foam parties foaming and festival guests sliding down massive slides.
With huge acts like Cole Swindell, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line, event organizers are keeping guest’ ear drums happy. Need a break from the music? Check out the Vertigo Swing, a swing that stands well above the festival grounds giving riders a view of the crowds and musicians and a break from the Earth’s surface.
Scared of heights? Join in on the foam party fully equipped with a DJ and dancing throughout the weekend. As you walk through the festival crowds, it’s obvious who spent time in the foam pit.
For the more adventurous festival goers, check out the giant water slide. Known as the ‘fastest slide in the Northeast,” from the time the festival gates opened to the time they closed, there were people racing down the slides, having a great time.
