Delaware Army National Guard Veteran, Mike Laureano, Saves Little Girl’s Life After Bone Marrow Donation
Adriana Aviles was only three-years-old when she was diagnosed with a chemo-resistant form of leukemia.
A bone marrow donation was her only hope of surviving. 29-year old Delaware Army National Guard Veteran Mike Laureano donated bone marrow to save her life. Mike stops by Historic Studio D to share their story.
We also talk about Be The Match, the national marrow donor program that created this opportunity for Adriana to receive the help she needed.
