The 23rd Annual Nanticoke Riverfest is coming up on July 8 in Downtown Seaford.
Superintendent of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Seaford, Katie Hickey, joins us in the studio to tell us about the popular float-in, the Little and Junior Miss Riverfest Pageant, vendors, and all the fun that’s planned for Saturday.
In years past, Nanticoke Riverfest was a three day event. However, this year, all the festivities will take place in one day. The float-in begins at 7:30 am and the vendors and other activities will start at 9 am. Katie says the event is family-friendly and there are so many activities for the kids and even adults to enjoy. There will be music performances as well.
Katie also brought one of the kids games in for Jimmy to play!
