Cindy Faith loves her Chincoteague Island, and does just about anything needed to help those living on it. She teaches classes and gives lectures; often volunteering for the Museum of Chincoteague or through the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance.
Faith also gives walking tours of her beloved island. Plus, she raises money for numerous causes, including one of her latest projects: helping organize and build a town park for children with disabilities.
These are just a few of the reasons why Cindy Faith is a 2021 Jefferson Award winner!
WBOC is proud to be a local partner of the Jefferson Awards, which are presented to unrecognized citizens on Delmarva who provide extraordinary public service. The Jefferson Awards are presented on two levels: national and local. The mission of the Jefferson Awards is to encourage and honor individuals for their achievements and contributions through public and community service.
