Local pet shelters on Delmarva need our help.
A camp offered by Brandywine Valley SPCA, Georgetown helps give homeless animals on Delmarva the love they need until they find their “happily ever after.” We talk with Walt Fenstermacher, Director of Operations, about the shelter’s mission and what it takes to give shelter animals the care and attention they need to become adoptable.
The BVSPCA 2019 Critter Camp Summer Program is a week-long camp is for children between the ages of 7-12 looking to give back to animals in need while learning to be the best furry companion they can be. Each week-long camp and runs from 9am to 3pm, after care can be provided this year. The weekly cost covers all activities, arts & crafts materials, snacks, and camp t-shirt. Students are required to bring their own bagged lunch. Camp weeks run from June to August.
