Baywater Animal Rescue Takes in Thirteen Dogs After Owner is Diagnosed with Brain Cancer
Imagine if everything you know – everything you’re used to – were to change in an instant.
The people you’re familiar with, your surroundings – they’re all different. That’s exactly what’s going on with the thirteen dogs right now in the care of the team at Baywater Animal Rescue in Cambridge, Md.
Tom Divillo, board president with Baywater Animal Rescue, and Elena Gowe, operations manager, joins us in Historic Studio D to talk about the dogs. They recently took in thirteen impounded dogs and are hoping to raise money for their care. The dogs belonged to a man who was diagnosed with brain cancer. Baywater Animal Rescue is doing their best to help, but some of the dogs are going to require medical treatment and care.
They are looking for monetary donations as well as blankets and towels. Elena says even just volunteering your time to walk the dogs and show them some love is appreciated.
