For many senior citizens living right here on Delmarva, going grocery shopping and preparing meals is a difficult task.
That’s where Meals on Wheels can help. Marketing Coordinator with Meals on Wheels, Jennifer Halliday, and Sip and Savor Committee Member, Katie Becker, join us on the couches to explain how Meals on Wheels helps seniors in the community.
The program provides and delivers meals to nearly 4,000 homebound seniors. Programs like this would not be possible without help from the community.
The Sip and Savor event benefiting Meals on Wheels is Saturday, Sept. 9 from 6 pm-9 pm at Wild Quail Country Club in Dover, Del. WBOC is a proud sponsor of this event.
