25th Annual Berlin Fiddlers Convention Begins Friday
The festival will feature many bluegrass bands including Tim & Savannah Finch and the Eastman String Band, The Last Minute Men and The Country Grass. The band competition starts at noon on Saturday.
This year’s food vendors include catering by Chef Stewart of Flannery’s and a food truck from Sobo’s Wine Beerstro.
The Last Minute Men will take the stage Friday evening at 7 p.m. followed by Tim & Savannah Finch & the Eastman String Band from 8-10 p.m. Friday’s performances will be located at the Fins North Main Street stage.
Saturday morning welcomes visitors to attend a fiddle master class with Jon Glik at the Berlin Visitor’s Center. A guitar master class will take place with Chris Luquette at A Bit Sheepish.
There will be a live bluegrass warmup from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. right before the music competition Saturday.
The Country Grass and Friends band will host a Sunday gospel and bluegrass Jam from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Calvin B. Taylor House Museum on North Main Street.
Free satellite parking and shuttle services will be provided from Berlin Intermediate School on Franklin Avenue. Handicap parking will be located on 14 South Main St.
