Delaware
Bridgeville: Saturday, Dec. 17, at 4:30 p.m. Featuring food, music and floats. Once the parade concludes, gather at the Bridgeville Historical Park for Caroling in the Park with the Bridgeville Mustangs 4-H Club. To participate, visit www.bridgeville.delaware.gov.
Dagsboro: Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. The parade lines up at Indian River High School and ends at the Dagsboro Fire Hall on Clayton Street. Parade is sponsored by Dagsboro Paint & Wallpaper. Rain date is Friday, Dec. 9. For parade information email DagsboroChristmasParade@gmail.com.
Delmar: Saturday, Dec. 3, 2-30 p.m. Rain date for the parade is Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. The judges’ stand will be located at the corner of Bi-State Boulevard and State Street. Grand Marshals this year are Gary and Anna Humphreys, Delmar’s 2016 Citizens of the Year.
Georgetown: Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas Dreams” and will again culminate in the arrival of Santa Claus. Scores of floats, marching bands, classic cars, fire engines and much more will participate in the annual event, which is parade is being organized by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. Harrington: Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. Rain date will be on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. Location: Downtown. This year’s theme is “A Disney Christmas.” Contact Harrington Parks and Recreation to register to participate in the parade, at 302-398-7975.
Laurel: Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. The theme of this year’s Laurel Christmas Parade is “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Registrations forms can be picked up at Laurel Town Hall during normal business hours or are available on the town’s website, under Forms and Documents.
Lewes: Saturday, Dec. 3, at 5 p.m. (Rain/Snow Date: Saturday, Dec. 10 at the same time). The theme for Lewes’ 85th Annual Christmas Parade is “Mistletoe & Holly.” The parade line up takes place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and the parade begins on Savannah Road at Sussex Drive and will end in front of King’s Ice Cream Shop on Second Street.
Milton: Wednesday, Dec. 7, 7:30-9 p.m. Milton’s Hometown Christmas Parade starts at Union and Atlantic and goes down Union, up Federal and ends at Milton Elementary. Sponsored and organized by the Milton Fire Company. For more information call 302-684-8500.
Millsboro: Saturday, Dec. 3, 10-11 a.m. The 66th Annual Millsboro Christmas Parade Parade is sponsored by D&D Stained Glass. Line-up will begin at 8 a.m. at M&T Bank on Mitchell.
Rehoboth Beach: Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 6:30 p.m. The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting this
year’s Rehoboth Beach Hometown Christmas Parade. Residents, guests, visitors, and family home for the holidays,
can all come together to enjoy the parade, island lights, the Christmas tree, and, of course, the arrival of Santa Claus
himself. All parade participants and watchers are invited to the Rehoboth Beach Fire Station after the parade for refreshments, for the awarding of trophies, and to visit Santa Claus.
Seaford: Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. (Rain date is Sunday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.) The Seaford Christmas Parade begins at Pennsylvania Avenue and Nylon Boulevard, proceed on High Street turning left on Market Street finishing near Seaford Middle School. The theme of this year’s parade is “Candy Cane Christmas.” The parade will feature 150 entries including area school bands, marching units, lighted float displays, commercial and non-commercial floats from throughout the area, new and antique vehicles, fire departments, pageant winners and so much more. Selbyville: Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. The Annual Selbyville Christmas Parade features floats, marching bands, beauty queens, local clubs, and classic cars. The parade route is Church & Railroad Avenue to Church & Main Street. Prizes given for best in Divisions such as floats, bands, ideas and costumes.
Smyrna/Clayton: Sunday, Dec. 4, at 5 p.m. in Clayton. The Smyrna/Clayton July 4th Association sponsors the parade, which begins at Clayton Elementary School on School Lane and proceeds down Main Street, turning left onto Reed Street, ending at Metal Masters/Eagle Group parking lot. The parade features bands, fire companies, car groups, dignitaries, horses, floats, wagons and much more participating.
Maryland
Berlin: Thursday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. Sponsored by Berlin Main Street, celebrate the holiday season as people fill the streets to watch the marching bands, dance teams, fire companies and floats while awaiting the arrival of Santa. Harrison Avenue will be closed and not accessible to any traffic. North Main Street from the intersection of Route 818 and Route 346 will only be accessible parade entries 1 through 24 and residents living in that area from 6-9 p.m. Entries along Bryan Avenue and Franklin Avenue are asked to access their lineup spots via Franklin Avenue where Town staff will assist you. Parents must drop off their children at the Graham Avenue and Nelson Avenue intersection or at the intersection of Franklin and Pine/Grice Streets. Cambridge: Saturday, Dec. 3, at 5 p.m. The Cambridge-Dorchester County Christmas Parade will begin just after the lighting of the Crab Basket Christmas Tree at the corner of Gay and Race streets. The parade route begins on High Street near Water Street and continues on Poplar Street, then Race Street, ending at the intersection of Race and Washington Streets. Awards are given in various categories, including best classic auto, adult and youth floats, marching bands and marching unit. For more information call 443-521-1671.
Centreville: Friday, Dec. 2, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Centreville Christmas Parade’s theme for this year will be Favorite Christmas Stories (from books, movies, songs, etc). A maximum of 90 entries will once again be permitted this year. Yhe parade route is scheduled to leave Queen Anne’s County High School at 6:30 p.m., proceed down Ruthsburg Road/Railroad Avenue and take a right onto Banjo Lane and turn left onto Turpins Lane, continue on Turpins Lane and turn left onto Commerce Street; continue on Commerce Street and turn left on Kidwell Avenue; continue on Kidwell Avenue and turn right on Ruthsburg Road. The parade will continue on Ruthsburg Road and return and disband at the Queen Anne’s County High School.
Crisfield: Friday, Dec. 2, at 6:30 p.m. (Rain date, Dec. 3). The Crisfield Christmas Parade will be held on Main Street. Dress warmly. For more information, call the Crisfield Chamber of Commerce at 410-968-2500.

Denton: Thursday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. Denton’s Holiday Parade and Lighting of the Green is free and open to churches, school groups, marching bands, civic organizations and more. For details call the town office at (410) 479-2050.
Easton: Saturday, Dec. 3, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The annual Easton Holiday Parade will feature more than 60 floats, band, and organizations as they show off their Christmas spirit for the Mid-Shore’s biggest holiday parade.
Greensboro: Saturday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m. The route starts at Greensboro Supply and continues down Sunset Avenue to Greensboro River park where Santa Claus will be there for free photos and cookies and hot chocolate. Contact Town Hall for more information at 410-482-6222.
Ocean City: Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. The 34th Annual Ocean City Christmas Parade starts at 11 a.m.on Old Landing Road. and marches northbound in the southbound lanes of Coastal Highway to the judges’ stand at 120th Street. The event will feature more than 50 units, including high school bands, horses, antique cars, colorful holiday floats, and more. Professional judges will review bands and other units in nine categories, with trophies being awarded inside the Carousel Hotel following the parade. The awards presentation is part of a post-parade reception hosted by the Carousel Hotel, bringing additional family fun for participants and patrons alike. Festivities at the hotel will begin immediately after the parade conclusion and sill include half-priced ice skating, a DJ playing continuous holiday music and fee photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. In addition, complementary winter refreshments will be available.
For those wishing to view the parade, planty of seating will be available along the west side of the half-mile parade route, including the Food Lion parking lot and judging area. Spectators will not be permitted to watch the parade from the median area of Coastal Highway. Motorists are reminded that traffic pattern changes will begin approximately 8 a.m. and traffic congestion and delays should be expected. Also, due to the high volume of pedestrian traffic, everyone is reminded to Walk Smart by using crosswalks and crossing with the traffic control signal.

Pocomoke City: Monday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. The Pocomoke Christmas Parade features marching bands representing high and middle schools from seven counties in three states. Also featured will be decorated and lighted floats entered by schools, civic organizations, churches, and commercial enterprises. Clowns, marching units, fire departments, equestrian units, and of course Santa Claus will round out the two-hour event. The route will take the parade north on Market Street beginning at 14th Street and ending at the Pocomoke River. Professional judges, including members of the National Judges Association, will score entries in 10 different categories. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded immediately following the event to the top entries in each category.
Princess Anne: Saturday, Dec. 3, 11 a.m.-noon. The Princess Anne Christmas Parade features local high school and university bands, floats and marching groups from local organizations and civic groups following a route along Somerset Avenue. After the parade there are pictures with Santa, cookies and milk at the library. Other activities on Saturday include the Olde Princess Anne Days Christmas Tour, featuring period homes decorated for the holidays. Tickets are available at Somerset Choice Antiques. In the evening the Teackle Mansion Candlelight Reception and Dinner. Limited tickets available. Salisbury: Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. The 70th Annual Salisbury Jaycees Parade showcases more than 100 entries including local dignitaries, fire trucks, marching bands, the perennially popular Eastern Correctional Institution float and, of course, Santa Claus, joined by Saul the Salisbury Jaycees Bear!

St. Michaels: Saturday, Dec. 10, at 10:30 a.m. Talbot Street from Perry Cabin south to Seymour Avenue. Featuring marching bands, antique cars and boats, fire engines, horses, kazoo bands and llamas. Virginia
Chincoteague: Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. Location: Main Street. Chincoteague’s Old Fashioned Christmas Parade will feature floats, marching bands, color guards, Saltwater Cowboys, fire companies from around the shore, and much more. Santa himself will be making a special visit. There are prizes and awards in a variety of categories. The awards ceremony and up close visit with Saint Nick takes place at the firehouse after the parade. Sponsored by the Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce.
