2016 Bridgeville Beer and Barrel Festival
Last year, the Bridgeville Beer and Festival was cancelled due to rain. So this year, they decided to make the festival bigger and better.
Lynn Brocato, the Executive Director of the Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce, joins us to tell us all about the upcoming festival.
“It was tough, but the event is an outside event. They were expecting 50 mph wind and we just didn’t want to put people in harms way. So we decided to cancel it and try to regroup and reschedule,” Lynn says.

The event features unlimited samples from Delmarva breweries, wineries, distilling companies, meaderies and cideries. Lynn and Lisa always make a drink called “dirty juice” made with Dirty tequila. Dogfish Head and 3rd Wave Brewing from Delmar, Del. will be at the festival as well.
There will be food supplied by Abbot’s Grill, Backyard Louie’s BBQ, Nothing Better, and Sweet Serenity Chocolates. There will be crafters and vendors as well.
Modern Day Addiction will be playing in the morning and Mike Hines and the Look will be playing in the afternoon.
The Bridgeville Beer and Barrel Festival is Sat., Nov. 12 from 11 am-4 pm at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville. Tickets in advance are $25 per person, $10 designated drivers, and $30 at the door. Get tickets here.
